main takeaways;
it's a game about predicting where your enemy will be, and clashing that against a robust first-person shooter combat system that demands precision, accuracy, and good movement. both systems feed into each other as the ttk is so short, with gunfights usually ending in seconds but having minutes worth of build-up.
]you don't NEED to have amazing skill, as crosshair placement and raw spray control are more based on good gamesense and experience. tapping is essentially more skill based.
sprays need good practice. they stay the same but they're really hard.
issues;
i'm pretty good at predicting enemy movement, and i'm capable of switching into my brain's "built in ADS", issue is i can only do one or the other. this means essentially, i'm either firing from the hip while predicting good movement, or i'm completely zoned in on landing a shot, but prone to getting outmatched in dodges and shifty counter strafing
reddit user says "Use recoil master as a warmup before games until it becomes muscle memory"
which sounds like a good idea, i might try add that to my warmups before games
cs is tantalising. it's horribly hard, and i'm horribly horrible at it, but it keeps sucking me back in. i REALLY really want to get good at this game
